True, but how many people are very open-minded/highly intellectual these days?

Thats a good question. It always seems the youth gets more and more dumb and primitive. But that probably never changed and people always had that feeling. I think the problem is not, if it gets you or not. Even highly intellectual people can get caught into the "glory" of the naziregime. The point is, if you go so far to learn everything what you admire or not, because if you do, you will find out sooner or later whats really fucked up about it. |

Well that sparks a whole new topic. Music strikes whatever You want it to. Some music is used for specific purposes, some music does spark strong emotions,
sometimes subconsciously. But the type of reaction that's being brought up isn't that kind of reaction. I'm a female and I listen to some pretty
harsh black metal, funeral doom, drone, all of these could potentially spark some pretty drastic emotions and/or reactions. But I choose not to let them. My
parents were always open and supportive, sometimes haha. But I definitly dont think that all music types strike those same outcomes. It does seem like it's
more of the extremes in any type of music, and I do think that culture and upbringing as well as intelligence level haha, for sure plays a part in the
reactions people have as a result of the music they listen to.

I'm a female and I listen to some pretty harsh black metal, funeral doom, droneO_o Wanna breed? Joke aside, I bet there is a few individuals out there that actually catch the big thing early on and just adore the music for what it is without all the idiotic BS thats connected to it. Of course im still heavily in love with those black metal poser pictures but I guess that have more to do with my Conanesque-romantic soul rather then being into black metal. Silenius weilding that sword on the hill in black and white pwns!

Actually I have been quite busy on my masterdissertation on Roman/Germanic culture and the syncretism between the two. A fascinating subject and I must say
that I find the whole Roman era quite intrigueing, not that it have anything to do with anarchy but still. The fact that the celtic population was sandwiched
between the Roman empire and the germanic raiders is quite a forgotten quasigenocidial event in europe
