Sitting here listening to Sabbat... Japanese one of course. Fucking brilliant.
The record "Satanasword", Angel of Destruction. Oh hell yeah! This is a band I'm dreaming of seeing live some day.

Been listening to them on and off for a couple of years now, was hooked since the beginning. They write riffs to die for...

I rather like tight black metal compositions such as dem Zargof gits or indeed Kataxu! Da mix between electronics and black metal is wut makes me tick!

Unfortunately I seem to be pretty much off this forum so I don`t know what`s happening in this thread either.
I guess it`s some sort of recomending good BM to people. On the last two pages, except Sabbat ( the japs of course not the half-assed UK thrash band) I must say there`s nothing to impress me. Maybe a bit of Seth. I have tried hard to listen to Kataxu, failed. I tried because they were supposed to have a gig here in Romania. Generic crap for my ears. The only thing I would reccomend from the less known bands is Hirilorn. "Last Ride on the Winds of Eternity" is a great song. |

There are few songs from the upcoming Amestigon album "Sun of All Suns" on their myspace.
Is that Silenius vocals on "Satanic Flesh" ? Not sure. |

Marduk is coming to "Frisco" on June 3rd. No word on supporting bands yet. Don't really care either!

Hey! I was wondering if someone could list me which albums of Paysage d'Hiver are Ambiant and which are black metal, maybe there are some that mix both
style so just let me know about it, if anyone knows of course! I am planing to buy some albums so I just want to be informed before buying them. I know that
Die Festung is completley ambiant (I own that one), and I've read that the self-titled has some black metal, but I don't know about the other ones.

Die Festung and Einsamkeit are the only full ambient ones. The rest are black metal with ambient elements.

Die Festung is amazing.. I can listen to Koenig Winter over and over again.. Its slow, gritty, magical and reminds me of the good old days when synthezisers
where hella expensive.. Hell we saved cash for years to buy our first sequenser =P
