In sweden at the moment there are some debating about abortion, and not just abortion. With our advanced technology and heavy duty science(yey!) we are now able to pinpoint if a fetus is suffering from any kind of disorder such as down syndrome or any other "abnormalities". We now have the ability to more or less chose to make an abortion to avoid a life, well, not as ordinary kids. Is this the right thing to do? To be able to decide whatever or not a child should be given birth with an extra chromosome or some other inherited flaw is, in my humble opinion, the future. Sure people call you a nazi or some stupid shit like that but if we turn the stake around. Say that there was a way to eliminate AIDS, then all the hypocrites would cheer and be wild in praises to the drug. Isnt all flaws and deseases bad? If I where to give birth to a child, for my sake and the child sake, I would want it to be perfectly normal. But not all share my point of view and some even go as far as to call me a monster or inhuman. Well may it be so..
So this is only the debate in sweden, not sure about other countries and the ethics and morale over there. Im interested to hear others point of view.
Now!!
